Any News?

O.K. this isn't much, but I did hear that Colton and Chance rode an ostrich in Cape Town! Sounds like all the boys are still having a blast and the time of their life! Anyone hear any results from the dual though??

Travel Day

We leave for Capetown today. The past few days have been really busy. We left Kruger on Friday headed for Pretoria. Friday evening we wrestled the Sprinboks which is their national team. They brought kids from all over SA to wrestle us. We competed well but did not win many matches. After the match the kids met their host families from Pretoria and headed home. It was up early to come back to the wrestling hall for an all day tournament. Got there at 7 AM and left at 7 PM. We did really well Saturday winning many medals. I don't know who won what because once they were finished they went home with their host families. The people from the Centerion and Tuks club hosting are very wonderful people. I do know Colton, Zorg, Ryan, Trevor Gwin won gold medals. I will try and get a medal count for the the next time. We wrestle 2 more times. Once in Capetown what think will be Tuesday then Wednesday evening in Joburg after we come back from Capetown. Sorry no pictures I will put up plenty when I get home. All the boys have many photos.
I will try and update from Capetown

Kruger Park

Sorry it has been so long but it was a crazy 48 hours. As Patrcia said we wrestled Tuesday night and then drove to Kruger through the night with a short stop in Secunda. We got to the gates at 7:00 AM and toured the park until 6:00 PM. After a great dinner we all went to bed early. We got up at 5:30 AM and did it all again today. We saw some amazing things. Probably the coolest was the lions after they had taken down an elephant during the night and were all laying nearby with one lion protecting their harvest. There will be a ton of pictures from all of your children. It is to difficult now for me to upload. I will try over the next few days. We leave in the morning for Pretoria. We wrestle their national team Friday evening and a tournament on Saturday. We fly out Sunday for Capetown. When I can get to another computer I will update.
Everyone enjoyed the last two days in Kruger Park. It is a very special place.
We will have stiff competition Friday night. They are flying kids in from all over SA to wrestle us. The are very happy to have us here and are trying to wrestle us a lot.
Talk to all of you soon

Wed. update

Second hand info from Colton..... they dualed Pretoria last night then had a great Lasagna dinner! Headed to their host home for a couple hours and then left for Krueger National Park at 2 in the morning and arrived about 6 am. They saw all kinds of wildlife up close.....even saw some lions stalking a giraffe at its drinking water. The boys are all taking lots of pictures. They are staying at the Krueger Lodge on the other side of the park, got there about 3:00 pm their time. He didn't say much about the duals other than his matches. I am sure Scott will update if/when he can. Doesn't sound like they slept much last night :-)

Photo's from the Wildlife Preserve

First Dual

We had another awesome day. We went to a wildlife preserve and saw many animals. Baby lions and tigers as well as big ones. Also, saw hippos and a rhino. After the preserve we wrestled our first dual against our hosts Central Gueteng. We wrestled 33 matches and won 87-56. Colton won four matches three by pin. Zorg was 3-0 all by pin and Chance was 3-0 all by pin. After the match they took us to a nice dinner and had a wonderful time visiting. We leave today to wrestle at Pretoria then had up towards Kruger. We will enter the park tomorrow and stay until Friday. If I can get on the Internet I will tell more about it.

Keep it up Scott! The photos and information are great and we all appreciate your time and efforts with the boys!
Today the boys went to Gold Reef City, Amusement Park and it sounds like they had a great time and there were some good water rides. Tomorrow they are spending time with their host families, doing whatever they are such as going to school, riding quads, etc. There is also a dual tomorrow night.
